Josée brings a unique skill set to Scollard Group International, combining innovative marketing communications, real estate product design and development, with a solid business background in management. As marketing director for Scollard Group, Josée has implemented award winning and innovative solutions for marketing second home developments and Lifestyle centers in Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and California.

In 1995 Josée joined bireM, an international real estate marketing company founded in by Cliff Bowman and Harold Green. Though her ability to analyse consumers, market trends and her background in design, where she was responsible for product development of luxury condominium communities marketed across North America. Josée also coordinated and matched teams to each development with award winning consultants of architects, designers, and communications, creative and multi-media agencies. Josée was instrumental in defining a philosophy in designing Lifestyle Centers to market pre-sale developments.

A graduate of interior design from the International School of Design in Toronto, Josée achieved a standing on the Dean's list. She establish the design firm, Lafontaine Interiors, creating ingenious housing solutions for nursing and retirement homes, as well as hospitality, restaurant, condo and commercial spaces. While working with her condominium developer clients, Josée created and inspired new programs such as developer buyer relation initiatives, suite selection programs for new sales and turn-key suite packages for off shore investors. Always innovative and ahead of the curve, Josée conceptualized of Net-Porter, a virtual concierge e-solution inspired to differentiate residential developments in a competitive marketplace.

Josée is a co-owner of Community LifeCare Ltd., a business that owns and manages retirement and nursing home communities across Ontario. Community LifeCare currently operates 14 buildings and is one of the largest privately owned Seniors Residence companies in Ontario.

In 1996, Josée purchased the 124-suite Scarborough Retirement Centre, blending her design talents with her innovative entrepreneurial skills to create a thriving retirement community.

Josée is a member of the Retirement Association of Ontario, Urban Land Institute (ULI), American Marketing Association (AMA) and National Association of Homebuilder (NAHB). She is currently studying for an MBA and enjoys learning new languages, travel and spends time between Texas and Toronto.
